Jill L. Zarend joined MARBIDCO in January 2022 as the Communications Associate. Her duties include maintaining the organization’s website, designing print materials, creating advertisements, managing marketing materials, assisting with customer outreach and handling special projects.
Prior to starting at MARBIDCO, Jill worked at the Maryland State Arts Council, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, the Baltimore Sun, and two commercial businesses.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a minor in Broadcasting from Towson University. Jill grew up in Michigan but has lived in Maryland for several years. She is a sponsor of International U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen and has a dog named Jackson.
